Teaching Methods
These are the lists of the Teaching Methods they use in SMP Lab school:
1. Scientific / Scientific Method
2. Other learning methods can be applied - ESPECIALLY active
learning.
3. Language learning which can implement Genre-Based
Approach, Task-Based Instruction, etc.
4. The teacher has space to make learning innovations.
Materials and Innovation
As mentioned earlier, the learning resources they use are:

Textbooks (digital and non-digital).

Teachers use other materials to assist students in meeting the expectations for learning defined by provincial or local curricula.
They also have a lot of facilities such as the library, computer room, and laboratory rooms. They also have other learning materials in each classroom, such as globes, comics, etc.
The Learning Innovations carried out at SMP Lab school UPI is by applying the dual language learning system, Tauhiid class (religious class), habituation of student character (students' love on mosques), and collaborating learning between students and UPI lecturers.
Sources of learning
These are the sources of learning they use in SMP Lab school:
1. Books provided by the Government
2. Grafindo Book (one of the publishers)
3. Other relevant books
4. Resources from the internet (learning videos, etc.)
Authentic Assessment
The authentic assessment they use must be able to describe what attitudes, skills, and knowledge students have or do not have, how they apply their knowledge, in terms of what they have or have not been able to implement learning acquisition, etc.
The types of authenticity they use are Written Assessments, Portfolio Assessments, Project Assessments, and Performance Assessments.
