SEA Teacher Orientation Program

Today is my first day here at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). My schedule for today is to know different things about Indonesia and its people. Pak Vidi taught us about the do’s and don’ts here in Indonesia. Some traditions are like in the Philippines. Still, there are also a lot of differences in the Philippines. Since I am a foreigner, I have to adjust to their culture to cope with people, especially the students, easily.
This afternoon we also had an orientation with our Mentors. I feel so special today because I'm the only Social Science major. I talked one-on-one to my mentor, Pak Iqbal. I learned a lot of things about their Education System. I know that that information would be my guide during my practice teaching here at UPI.
